Albanese and Burke’s ‘our way or the highway’ attitude on IR reform slammed
Shadow Attorney-General Michaelia Cash says the Coalition and the crossbench have presented a “reasonable proposal” regarding the IR changes.
She suggests agreeing on certain parts of the bill and processing them this year.
“Why would you hold up helping first responders suffering from PTSD unless you had a political motive,” Ms Cash told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
She criticised Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Employment Minister Tony Burke’s stance, saying they present a “our way or the highway” attitude.
“We’re not going to play that game.”
