Turkey’s president apologises for slow response to the earthquakes
The President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan apologises for not being able to help everyone quickly amidst one of the world’s deadliest earthquakes in more than a decade.
The death toll in Syria and Turkey is now at 23,700 and rising.
President Erdogan visited a stadium in Adiyaman on Wednesday to meet with survivors.
He said he was sorry for not being able to help everyone quickly however promised to rebuild areas within a year.
