Supreme Court Rejects Derek Chauvin’s Murder Appeal

Former police officer Derek Chauvin was convicted of the murder of George Floyd in April 2021. He was sentenced to over 20 years in prison. In October of this year, Chauvin’s legal team appealed the conviction, arguing that he didn’t receive a fair trial due to prejudice caused by publicity.
