‘A bit of a slap’ from the Tasmanian people if Liberal Party ‘just holds its ground’

Tasmanian Independent MP Megan Webb says if the Liberal Party "just holds its ground, or goes back a little bit", that's the Tasmanian people giving the government "a bit of a slap".

"A government that - for politically opportunistic reasons - sent us to the polls a year early to try and capitalise on a COVID-effect, has actually not been rewarded for that," she said.
