‘A lot of damage is being done’ to young people during COVID-19

Child and adolescent psychologist Dr Michael Carr-Gregg says “a lot of damage is being done” to young people as a result of the indirect effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.  

“We will only feel the full effect of this probably halfway through next year,” Dr Carr-Gregg told Sky News host Rita Panahi. 

“There’ve been a lot of us in the psychology profession and health profession pleading with the Premier to prioritise the health of young people, particularly the mental health of young people.”
