Mumbai: Actor-turned critic Kamaal Rashid Khan, who is engaged in a legal tussle with Salman Khan, praised Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal on social media. KRK took fans by surprise after he shared an appreciation post for the two ‘Sanju’ actors on Twitter.
In a tweet on Thursday, the self-proclaimed critic wrote, “Aap Dono Launde Nidar Aur Bahadur Ho! Bilkul Sahi Kiya Aap Dono Ne. My salute to both of you.”
KRK called Ranbir and Vicky ‘fearless’ and ‘courageos’ and saluted them for ‘doing the right thing’. His cryptic post set several tongues wagging on the micro-blogging site.
KRK had earlier claimed that Arjun Kapoor called him after Salman slapped him with a defamation suit. He said that he had a long discussion with the ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ star over phone. The ‘Bigg Boss 3’ contestant, who often shared scathing reviews for Arjun’s movies, promised to never criticize his projects.
“Thank you so much @arjunk26 (Arjun Kapoor) Bhai for your call and long discussion. Now I understood that you are only my real friend in Bollywood. And you are only real MARD who is not scared of anyone. Now I will never ever criticise your film.”
KRK had also thanked Govinda for his ‘love and support’ following Salman’s defamation suit. However, he took an U-turn and dismissed the rumours that suggested he was talking about the ‘Coolie No.1’ actor in his tweet.
“Please note Mr. Govind Arun Ahuja @govindaahuja21, I didn’t tag you because I was not talking about you. I was talking about my friend, who’s real name Govinda. So I can’t help if media people make news about you,” he tweeted.
Last month, Salman’s legal team issued a statement to clarify that the ‘Bharat’ star didn’t file a defamation case against KRK because of his review of his latest film ‘Radhe’. The legal firm representing the actor accused KRK of ‘publishing and endorsing derogatory allegations against Salman.
