Ahead of vaccination drive, Telangana health ministry says Covishield, Covaxin safe and efficient

Hyderabad: The Telangana health ministry on Friday clarified that each vaccines to struggle COVID-19—Serum Institute’s co-developed Covishield and Bharat Biotech’s indigenously developed Covaxin—are trusted and safe to be taken by residents.

In Telangana, around 139 session sites have been established across the state for the COVID-19 vaccine drive.”

Rao additional acknowledged that within the first part of the drive, health staff— each from authorities and non-public establishments, together with sanitation staff, varied frontline staff, defence forces, and cops will likely be vaccinated. Besides, residents above 50 years of age and severe sufferers will obtain the COVID-19 vaccine from January 16.

And fifty thousand have already been given to the health staff.”

Telangana State Health Minister Eatala Rajender will go to the COVID-19 vaccine facilities on Saturday.
