Albanese ‘thought he was onto a winner’ with vaccine incentive plan

Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese “thought he was onto a winner” with the plan to offer a $300 cash incentive for people who get vaccinated, according to Sky News host Paul Murray.

“It only goes until the first of December, so of course there’s no chance of an election before the first of December,” Mr Murray said.

“So is Anthony Albanese promising that even next year when there’s an election he will still promise $300 to every single person in Australia who has been vaccinated by then?

“Why? By that point in time they will have presumably already been vaccinated.”
