Australia needs to ‘use its money better’ if we want ‘lower taxation’

Commercial Litigator and Columnist Caroline Di Russo says if Australia "wants to have lower taxation", we need to "use our money better" as a taxation report reveals Australia has the third-highest tax rate in the world.

"The countries that tax less than us are either very fiscally responsible and efficient, or borderline insolvent. We need to decide which one we want to be," she said.

"Yes jobs and growth are important, but the context in which we as a country have that jobs and growth are also really important and who we are as a nation is really important."
