Berejiklian will make ‘cautious’ decisions around regional travel

Premier Gladys Berejiklian says the health advice at the time will dictate whether those in Sydney are able to travel to the regions once the state achieves 70 per cent double dose vaccinations.

Several regional MPs from across the political spectrum have urged the government to reconsider allowing Sydneysiders to travel to the regions when the state opens back up, citing lower vaccination rates.

“We will make the cautious decisions based on the health advice,” Ms Berejiklian said.

“We will take that approach as we have on most things.”
