BHUBANESWAR: With Board of Secondary Education (BSE) asserting query module for Class X college students, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has determined to finalise the exam module and query sample for the annual Plus II examination inside a week.
The CHSE will maintain the annual exam for Class XII college students from May 15 to June 11. But, with the 2020-21 tutorial 12 months hampered by the Covid-19 pandemic, there may be a risk in change of query sample to scale back burden on college students, sources stated. The syllabus for Plus II in the present tutorial 12 months has already been slashed by 30 per cent and bodily lessons for 100 days have additionally began.
The BSE, then again, has introduced to scale back complete marks of the HSC examination from 100 to 80 in which 50 marks shall be goal and 30 marks subjective questions. Meanwhile, the CHSE on Wednesday introduced the outcomes of Plus II on the spot and non-compulsory examinations held final 12 months. A complete 842 candidates appeared the moment examinations in Science stream, whereas it was 355 college students in Arts and 139 college students in Commerce stream.
Besides, 50 college students appeared the exams in vocational stream. The go share remained 62.47 per cent in Science, 80.84 in Arts, 57.55 per cent in Commerce and 52 p.c in vocational training. Similarly, 33 college students in Arts, 60 college students in Science and 12 college students in vocational training had appeared the Annual (Optional) Higher Secondary Exams.
