Cleanup Work Underway After Landslide Covers Highway in California
Cleanup work was underway on State Route 96 exterior Happy Camp, California, on February 22 after a landslide lined the freeway in greater than 30,000 cubic yards of particles, California’s Department of Transportation mentioned. This footage exhibits diggers and vans shifting a few of the particles; roughly 5,000 cubic yards had been eliminated as of February 22. The landslide occurred on the morning of February 18. According to native information studies, one lane of the freeway was closed in January following the same landslide. Credit: Caltrans District 2 by way of Storyful
