Russian invasion of Ukraine has the ‘potential to go nuclear’

NSW Liberal Democrats’ John Ruddick says Australia should not be involved in the war in Ukraine as it has the potential to “go nuclear”.

“Peter Dutton … he is dead wrong on this issue, we should not be involved in this, we should be trying to de-escalate this,” Mr Ruddick told Sky News host Cory Bernardi.

“This war in Ukraine has the potential to go nuclear … most western leaders they don’t know what they’re talking about, they’re ignorant of what’s really going on there.”
