Easy Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breasts



  • For the topping:

  • Mix together parmesan cheese, bread crumbs and melted butter. Set aside.
  • For the chicken:

  • Preheat oven on the high broil setting. Place rack about 8-10 inches from broiler.
  • Slice each chicken breast in half – length wise.
  • Place chicken breasts between two pieces of parchment paper, plastic wrap or wax paper. Flatten each breast until they are about an inch and a half thick.
  • Combine ranch powder, garlic powder and onion powder together.
  • Sprinke each chicken breast with the dry ingredients.
  • Cook each chicken breast for 2-4 minutes each side until cooked thoroughly – depending on thickness (internal temp of 165 degrees Fahrenheit or 74 degree Celcius).
  • Place cooked chicken breasts on a baking sheet pan. Top each breast with a slice of provolone and sprinkle each with the parmesan crust topping.
  • Place in oven and broil until cheese is melted and topping has browned into a crust.
  • Serve with your favorite sides – ENJOY!
