Questions raised on the ‘breadth’ of Voice to Parliament’s jurisdiction
Liberal MP Andrew Wallace says the argument from the Voice to Parliament’s No campaign is about the “breadth of its jurisdiction”.
“The proposed wording is very clear; it doesn’t talk about advice, it says ‘representations’ – what does that mean?” Mr Wallace told Sky News Australia.
“The drafters of this proposal have chosen to use the word ‘representations’, not ‘advice’.”
