FGG wants govt to take back Padmalaya land

HYDERABAD: The Forum for Good Governance (FFG) demanded on Monday that the State authorities resume a portion of the land allotted to Padmalaya Studios, because it was bought to others in violation of guidelines.
In a press release, FFG secretary M Padmanabha Reddy recalled that the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) really helpful motion in opposition to the Padmalaya Studios in 2015 itself. 

He mentioned that the federal government allotted 9.518 acres to Padmalaya Studios at a nominal price of Rs 8,500 per acre, a complete of round Rs 80,000. But, now the market worth of the land was Rs 200 crore, he mentioned. As per the situation, the Padmalaya Studios mustn’t promote the land. However, Padmalaya Studios bought 5.53 acres out of 9.518 acres to Zee Telefilms at Rs 3 crore per acre. The authorities ought to resume this land, FFG demanded. 

Padmanabha Reddy mentioned that the FFG submitted a memorandum on this in 2016 to the Governor. When requested by RTI software whether or not the federal government took any motion in opposition to their memorandum, the RTI reply said that the file was despatched to the Chief Minister. There had been no motion in opposition to the CCLA report within the final six years, Padmanabha Reddy alleged.
