Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya chairs meeting with Health ministers of States/ UTs to review status of operationalization of Teleconsultation services
Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya today chaired a meeting with Health ministers of States and Union Territories to review the status of operationalization of Teleconsultation services at Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Centres. Financial progress made under India COVID-19 Emergency Response and Health Systems Preparedness Package – Phase-II was also reviewed during the meeting.
Appreciating the healthcare services being provided through the digital platform of teleconsultation, Dr Mandaviya said, E-Sanjeevani is providing affordable and accessible health care as envisioned by the Prime Minister. He said, teleconsultation services are very crucial for people in remote areas and are helpful in making healthcare services accessible for all. He said, patients, consult with doctors and specialists on a daily basis using this innovative digital medium to seek health services.

Block-level Health Melas at all one lakh 17 thousand centres to be organized from 18th to 22nd of this month. Yoga session to be organized on 17th of this month. Health Mela to provide screening for early diagnosis of TB, Hypertension, diabetes and basic health care services.
