Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has give you a plan to develop a ‘Satellite Bus Terminal’ for buses travelling to Nalgonda, Khammam, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
This proposal will assist to overcome the traffic congestion at LB Nagar bus junction and can present parking facility for buses and passengers.
Buses which might be parked on the National Highway 65 are inflicting inconvenience for the passengers. The HMDA goes to assemble a bus terminal with 5 bus bays at Vanasthalipuram, Hayathnagar and Hyderabad.
“This bus terminal will be able to have the capacity of 8,500 passengers per day, which will have bus connectivity from Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Vijayawada, Nalgonda and Vizag,” stated an HMDA official.
According to the HMDA official, this challenge will happen in two phases with an estimated price of Rs. 10 crores. The 5 bus bays terminal will accommodate 4 bus platforms for every bay, truck parking facility, 450 meters of parking space, lounges, bathrooms, cafeteria, ATMs, pharmacy, and meals courts. The roof of the bus bay terminal can have photo voltaic panels.
The challenge is deliberate to be accomplished inside six months.
