Joe Biden to host first Quad leaders summit

US President Joe Biden will host the first Quad leaders summit at the White House on September 24. 

Prime Minister Scott Morrison along with India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese leader Yoshihide Suga will attend the conference in-person.  

The White House released a statement on the historical meeting a short time ago, saying: 

"The Quad Leaders will be focused on deepening our ties and advancing practical cooperation on areas such as combatting COVID-19, addressing the climate crisis, partnering on emerging technologies & cyberspace, & promoting a free & open Indo-Pacific".
