‘Kantara 2’ shoot finally begins; Rishabh Shetty shared the information by sharing a special post
The year 2022 was special for Kannada cinema. The film ‘KGF 2’ created history at the box office and the subsequent film ‘Kantara’ broke records and created a different history. Initially released only in Kannada, the film was later released in Hindi and other languages. This film made Rishabh Shetty an overnight star. In the month of January, ‘Kantara’ completed 100 days in theatres.
Actor director Rishabh Shetty and founder of Hombale Films Vijay Kirgandur had a grand celebration on this occasion. Meanwhile, Rishabh Shetty commented about ‘Kantara 2’. Rishabh mentioned that ‘Kantara 2’ is going to be a prequel to the original film. Soon the film will hit the screens.
On the occasion of Ugadi Kannada New Year, Hombale Films and Rishabh Shetty have given a new update about the film on their official social media accounts. From this post, he has explained that the writing of ‘Kantara 2’ has started. He has clarified in this post that he is eager to bring the film to the audience soon.

When Rishabh Shetty commented on ‘Kantara 2’ during the interval, he said, “What you just saw was the second part. The prequel of this film i.e. part 1 will be released next year. This idea came to my mind while shooting Kantara, because the story has a long history. Currently we are working hard for the plot of this film. It’s hard to say more about it right now.” Rishabh Shetty’s ‘Kantara’ collected INR 450 crores at the box office. Now the audience is very excited for ‘Kantara 2’ which will be released next year.
