KGF – Chapter 2 Box Office: Film equals Baahubali 2; records Rs. 40+ cr. collections on four consecutive days :Bollywood Box Office

The much talked about and immensely hyped Yash starrer KGF – Chapter 2 released last week on Thursday. Hitting a massive 10000 screens worldwide in multiple languages, the film was expected to be a massive money-spinner right from the outset. Living up to the hype, KGF 2 has been raking in the moolah at both the domestic and international box office. In fact, the film has managed to draw in a staggering Rs. 193.99 cr. within just four days of its release.

But if that wasn’t all, KGF – Chapter 2 has established a new record of sorts. Equalling the record of SS Rajamouli directorial Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion, KGF 2 has recorded Rs. 40+ cr. collections on four consecutive days, with two days featuring collections over the Rs. 50 cr. mark. If that was not enough, KGF 2 has claimed four spots among the Top 10 in terms of highest single day collections. Besides Baahubali 2, the business of KGF – Chapter 2 over its opening weekend has registered collections higher than some other Bollywood big ticket entertainers as well like, War that had register a collection of Rs. 53.35 cr, Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan that had registered Rs. 52.25 cr, and Sanju that had register Rs. 46.71 cr amongst others.

As of now, KGF – Chapter 2 still continues to run with audience thronging theatres. Given the current trend it is estimated that the business of the film will not only cross the Rs. 200 cr. mark, but is likely to near the Rs. 300 cr. mark by the end of its first week.

Day 1 – 53.95 cr.
Day 2 – 46.79 cr.
Day 3 – 42.90 cr.
Day 4 – 50.35 cr.

Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion
Day 1 – 41 cr.
Day 2 – 40.50 cr.
Day 3 – 46.50 cr.
Day 4 – 40.25 cr.
