Lower hospitalisation and death rates in current COVID-19 outbreak ‘all down to the vaccine’

Epidemiologist Professor Paul Van Buynder says the lowered rates of hospitalisation and death amid Australia’s current COVID-19 outbreak is “all down to the vaccine”. 

“NSW has had 20,000 cases in this outbreak – almost as much as Victoria," he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“They’ve had 93 instead of 800 deaths.”
