Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray greet people on occasion of Buddha Purnima
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his deputy Ajit Pawar greeted people on the occasion of Buddha Purnima today underlining the importance of Buddha’s thoughts and teachings for the welfare of mankind and the Universe in its entirety.
In a statement, CM Thackeray said if the principles given by Tathagata Gautam Buddha are adopted, the darkness in the society will be removed in the true sense. In his statement, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said Buddha’s thoughts will continue to illuminate human life by destroying sorrows and giving us the direction to overcome challenges. Meanwhile, various programs have been organized across the state to celebrate the occasion.
