Uttar Pradesh: Cold wave situation continues unabated in state

In Uttar Pradesh, cold wave situation continues unabated, allthough primary schools are going to open today across the state. In some districts, the vacations have been extended for few more days considering the cold wave conditions.
Many districts in western Uttar Pradesh and Tarai region witnessed heavy fog today morning also but few districts including state capital Lucknow got some relief from the fog from last 2 days. The temperature increased in maximum districts since last 2 days and Bareilly district in Tarai region was coldest in state with minimum temperature plummeting to 5 degree Celsius. Metrological department has predicted that few districts in Western and eastern Uttar Pradesh are likely to witness deng fog in the morning.
