Bihar govt makes special arrangements to provide assistance to affected passengers, families of deceased & injured in Balasore rail accident

Bihar government has made special arrangements to provide assistance to the affected passengers, families of deceased and injured in Balasore rail accident.
Talking to Akashvani News the secretary of State Disaster Management Department Sanjay Kumar Agarwal said 66 passengers have been brought back from Odisha by two buses.
He said from Bihar so far eight deaths have been confirmed and 53 are injured in the incident.
The Secretary said a 24 hours helpline number is functional for people seeking any kind of help. Several people have approached for assistance.
Mr Agarwal said a four member team of Bihar officials will coordinate with Balasore Administration and Railway Officials in Odisha in the process of identification of missing persons, and help families of deceased and injured passengers of Bihar.
The helpline numbers of Bihar government are 2294204 and 2294205 . A dedicated mobile number 7070290170 has also been issued for the people.
Meanwhile, the East Central has also issued helpline numbers which are functional at its different rail divisions. The numbers are HAJIPUR- 9771425969, DANAPUR 7759070004, SAMASTIPUR 97714 28963 and SONEPUR 97714 29999.
