Gold prices rise Rs 55, trades at Rs 58,695/ 10 gram

Gold prices today rose by 55 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for October contracts. The precious metal was trading at 58,695 rupees per 10 gram. Silver was down by 58 rupees to trade at 73,491 rupees per kilogram for September Contracts.
In the global markets, gold was trading up by .07 percent and trading at 1,941 dollars and 30 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. On the other hand, Silver was trading down by 0.09 percent and trading at 24 dollars and 56 cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
