Indian stock indices rise on positive US market trend and confidence in stable interest rates

The key domestic indices ended with gains on Tuesday amidst a positive trend in the US stock markets and investors’ optimism with respect to stable US interest rates.
The Sensex rose 276 points, or 0.42 percent, to close at 65,931. The Nifty added 89 points, or 0.45 percent, to settle at 19,783.
