Manipur CM inaugurates 28 fully completed projects for two hill districts of State- Tamenglong and Noney
Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh inaugurated 28 fully completed projects for two hill districts of the State- Tamenglong and Noney on Wednesday. Shri Biren also laid the foundation stone for four projects for these hill districts.
The Chief Minister visited Tamenglong district along with his cabinet colleagues, MLAs and high ranking civil officers of the State today and inaugural and foundation stone lying ceremony was held at district headquarter.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Biren said that the BJP led State government has been tying its best for equal development in hill and valley districts. In aim to made two hill districts- Tamenglong and Noney a model developed districts, the government taken up different projects at the total cost of Rupees 954 crore. As on date, projects amounting to Rupees 267 crore have completed.
The Chief Minister also announced a that door to door medical treatment campaign will be started from the first week of next month in the State. The initiative has been taken up under Chief Minister’s Health for All Scheme. During the campaign, medicines from Jan Aushadhi scheme will be provided to the patients.
