Marseille secures draw but drops points for Europa League

Marseille scored a late equalizer to draw with Strasbourg 1-1 at house but dropped points within the French league chase for a Europa League spot on Friday.

Striker Dario Benedetto got here off the bench to move house Luis Henrique’s cross from the left within the 86th minute, as sixth-placed Marseille moved stage on points with Lens in fifth and the Europa League spot.

Lens remained forward on purpose distinction but that would change because it visits second-placed Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday.


Monaco wins to stay 3rd and one point ahead of rival Lyon
