Nasdaq records biggest rise since March last year
U.S. stocks surged yesterday led by financial and tech shares. The three main U.S. stocks rebounded from losses of several sessions as oil prices pulled back sharply after fanning inflationary fears.
The S&P 500 posted its biggest one-day percentage gain since June 2020, while the Nasdaq tallied its biggest rise since March 2021.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average index climbed two percent, the S&P 500 surged 2.6 percent and the Nasdaq Composite jumped 3.6 percent.
