The training division of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation has warned lecturers and different employees members of strict action — together with transfers — if they don’t register and mark their attendance on the MCD Smart App.
The Indian Express had earlier this week reported that a number of lecturers and the MCD Teachers’ Association have been asking that they be issued allowances to buy smartphones and web packs, or be issued official telephones if they’re anticipated to take their work — together with marking attendance — on-line. MCD officers mentioned there may be at present no proposal for such an allowance.

It goes on to state, “… due to non-payment of salary by the department for many-many months, I am unable to make expenditures from my personal salary… I strictly refuse to spend any penny for the department…”
