Nothing Ear (2) Leaked Design Renders Show Nothing is Changing – MySmartPrice

Nothing recently confirmed that it will launch the Phone (2) later this year. The Phone (2) will launch in late 2023 as a premium smartphone with a focus on software. Prior to the Phone (2), the company is also expected to launch the Nothing Ear (2). The upcoming truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds from Nothing could debut in the first half of 2023. There is no official word on the launch date. Meanwhile, a new leak has revealed the design renders of the upcoming Nothing wireless earbuds.

The Ear (2) will be fairly identical to Ear (1) in terms of design. The earbuds will get some minor design changes though. Let’s take a look at the Nothing Ear (2) design renders, specifications and other details known so far.

Nothing Ear (2) Design Renders

The Nothing Ear (2) will be the company’s new premium TWS earbuds. Compared to Ear (1), the upcoming TWS will get very few design changes. As seen in the design renders shared by SmartPrix and OnLeaks, the earbuds continue to sport a semi-transparent design. The stem is transparent and has a black sheet inside which covers the internals. The earbuds continue to have silicon ear tips.

The renders also reveal that Ear (2)’s noise-cancelling microphone has been moved to the red dot on the stem. This was previously placed at the top of the earbud. As expected, there is a change in the branding. The stem also has the Nothing Ear (2) branding on it.

There is no visible design change in the charging case. The top half of the case is transparent, whereas the bottom half has a white sheet that covers the battery and other internals of the case.

While the design is not changing, the earbuds are set to get new features, according to the report. The earbuds will come with support for Personalised Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which will allow the user to set the level of noise cancellation as per their preferences. There will also be support for Transparency mode. In addition to this, the upcoming Nothing earbuds will support dual connectivity. This means that users will be able to connect the earbuds to two devices simultaneously.

Nothing will also add support for Advanced EQ with custom settings. The upcoming TWS from Nothing will also support the Find my Earbuds feature.
