NSW deputy premier’s daughter breaches COVID rules

The daughter of the New South Wales deputy premier has been fined $1,000 for failing to comply with COVID-19 public health orders.

Police allege the 20-year-old travelled from Queanbeyan near the ACT border to Sydney and then to Canberra before returning home last Friday.

NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro refused to answer questions about his daughter’s movements, saying he had “no comment to make”.
