Palaszczuk government grants special exemption for NRL families

The Palaszczuk government has granted a special exemption to a charter flight carrying the families and girlfriends of NRL players. 

The plane – which departed from Sydney, arrived this afternoon at Brisbane Airport. 

The families will go immediately into hotel quarantine for two weeks – despite Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk just days ago announcing a fortnight pause on arrivals into hotel quarantine in the state.
