Panchayat Polls: 73.5 percent turnout in 3rd Phase, 20-year-old killed, 2 injured in firing as two groups clash

A 20-year-old man was killed and two individuals have been injured after firing was reported throughout a clash between two sides, police stated. Two others have been injured in the clash in Kasganj district beneath Patiyali police station limits.

Police recognized the deceased as 20-year-old Amod Yadav. At least 11 different incidents of disturbances or violence have been reported from throughout the state in the course of the polling on Monday, police stated.

During the skirmish, the second side fired bullets leading to the death of Amod Yadav after he was hit in the chest, while the other two got hit in the thigh and head and are being treated at a hospital.”
