IN THE third section of panchayat elections was held on Monday in 20 districts and the ultimate voter turnout was recorded at 73.5 per cent.
A 20-year-old man was killed and two individuals have been injured after firing was reported throughout a clash between two sides, police stated. Two others have been injured in the clash in Kasganj district beneath Patiyali police station limits.

During the skirmish, the second side fired bullets leading to the death of Amod Yadav after he was hit in the chest, while the other two got hit in the thigh and head and are being treated at a hospital.”
