Pregnant mom killed on Easter Sunday in Houston, cops say


Family members say Brianna Navarro was killed as she was touring to an Eastern celebration.


A pregnant mom of two was shot and killed Sunday as she and her boyfriend have been driving to an Easter celebration, in response to the lady’s grandmother and Houston police.

The boyfriend of Brianna Navarro, 22, got into a fight with an unknown man at a comfort retailer Sunday afternoon previous to the taking pictures, Houston police say. The boyfriend drove away with Navarro in the entrance seat when police say the suspect followed and rear-ended them, in response to KTRK.

Police say the suspect fired photographs at Navarro’s car, putting her in the again. The boyfriend flagged down paramedics from the Houston Fire Department they usually pronounced her lifeless.

Navarro was six months pregnant, in response to KHOU.

“I said, ‘Oh, Lord, please don’t take her,’” Navarro’s grandmother, Loretta Romo, informed KHOU. “But she was already gone by the time they told me.”

Navarro’s boyfriend and 2-year-old son in the car were not injured in the shooting, in response to KRIV. She additionally reportedly has a 6-year-old baby.

Police say they’re trying to find the taking pictures suspect, who was driving a dark-colored car, KHOU reported. Anyone with info is requested to contact Houston police at 713-308-3600.

“Brianna didn’t deserve to die like this,” Romo informed KRIV. “She really didn’t. She wasn’t a problem maker, she wasn’t especially with her two kids.”
