Production-ready Renault Kiger revealed

– Will be out there with 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine

– Offered in six exterior shades 

Renault has taken the wraps off the production-spec of its sub-compact SUV, the Kiger. This will mark the French automotive maker’s entry into the favored sub-four metre SUV phase in India. Renault had revealed the idea model of the Kiger in November 2020 and has now showcased the production-spec mannequin which might be out there in six exterior colors – Ice Cool White, Planet Grey, Moonlight Grey, Mahogany Brown, Caspian Blue, Radiant Red with Mystery Black Roof. 

The Kiger might be a worldwide product for Renault and can debut in India adopted by different worldwide markets. As for the manufacturing, the Kiger might be constructed alongside its cousin Magnite on the Renault-Nissan plant in Chennai. 

We already know that the Kiger relies on the CMFA+ platform which underpins its youthful sibling, Triber, and its newly launched cousin – the Nissan Magnite. When launched in India within the coming months, the Kiger should cement its place between the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Mahindra XUV300, and the Nissan Magnite.
