Reverification ordered for 11,400 ‘Amma Vodi’ scheme beneficiaries

ONGOLE: Authorities have ordered a reverification for 11,400 ‘Amma Vodi’ scheme beneficiaries as their particulars have mismatched with that of their earlier years particulars. 

The reverification has been ordered for 11,450 college students within the district as their mother and father’ particulars are totally different from the one offered to the federal government final 12 months. 

There are round 4.50 lakh college students from first commonplace to tenth commonplace within the district who’re entitled to obtain Rs 14,000 of their financial institution accounts below the ‘Amma Vodi’ scheme. 

​Accordingly the district training division despatched the checklist to the federal government on December 31, publish which there have been no modifications to be made.

However, not too long ago authorities recognized that round 11,450 college students’ particulars have a mismatch. The lists had been returned to the faculties involved and the District Education Officer (DEO) VS Subba Rao directed the top masters of faculties to furnish the proper particulars after conducting an inquiry with mother and father and college students. 

The corrected lists have to be resubmitted to the authorities earlier than January 4. 

The DEO mentioned, “As per the officials’ directive, we have instructed head masters to conduct a meeting with parents and if any differences were observed, they should re-verify. The headmaster of the school concerned, along with the village or ward secretariat representative and one representative from the parents committee should be present  during the inquiry process. After completion, the head masters should upload the correct data in the prescribed format.”
