Shelf Cloud Surges Above Corpus Christi Amid Storms in Southern Texas

Timelapse footage showed a shelf cloud surging above Corpus Christi, Texas, on Thursday, November 25, as storms and inclement weather moved across southern Texas on Thanksgiving Day, the National Weather Service (NWS) said. The NWS said the storms would bring “numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms” with possible winds around 30 mph. The inclement weather in southern Texas meant the 72nd Annual H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade in Houston was called off. Credit: National Weather Service via Storyful
