A vibrant Adelaide and South Australia had its own unique New Years celebration.In unusually quiet conditions, New Years Eve celebrations began with artists bouncing down empty streets.People were left confused with the COVID restrictions initially, but soon the party fired up with the sold out Light Up festival –  with fire dancers spinning flames through the warm air.There were 5,000 people who roamed through  a socially distanced 30,000sqm area of parkland – full of family friendly entertainment and good advice for 2022.The latter end of the night saw nightclubs filled with partygoers farewelling the last hours of 2021.
