GUNTUR: A state-wide conference on ‘The role of government and people in development of villages’ will likely be inaugurated by Ajeya Kallam, Principal Advisor to Chief Minister, on January 14 in (*14*) village in Prakasam district, stated Madya Vimochana Prachara Committee Chairman V Lakshman Reddy.
Addressing mediapersons, Lakshman Reddy stated Gandhiji hoped for ‘Gram Swaraj’, and the thought of offering city services in rural areas of Late former President Abdul Kalam will likely be mentioned within the conference. He appealed to the non-residential villagers to work for the development of their villages.
Around 300 individuals, from 13 districts, who’re taking part in an energetic position within the development actions of their villages will participate on this conference to debate the measures to be taken to develop villages within the State.
Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita, MLC Dokka Manikya Varaprasad and public representatives from the 2 districts will participate on this conference, he added.
