Tamilnadu: 124 men, 29 women Cadets of Short Service Commissioned officers pass out from OTA
In Tamilnadu, a total of 124 men and 29 women Cadets of the Short Service Commissioned officers passed out from the Officers Training Academy today. Sixteen men and nine women cadets from friendly foreign countries also completed their training period of eleven months.
The parade was reviewed by Lt.General C.P.Mohanty, Vice Chief of Army Staff. who also presented the Sword of Honour and OTA gold medal to Cadet Siddhanth Sharma and Silver medal to Cadet Dimple Singh Bhati. The newly commissioned officers donning their ranks and regimental accoutrements, swore allegiance to the Country and the Constitution of India as they completed their training. The proud parents of the passing-out officer cadets attended the Pipping ceremony.
