Tasmania set to trial at home quarantine for 30 days

Tasmania is set to trial an at-home quarantine arrangement for 30 days to help its residents return from regional New South Wales.  

It will be open to those who are fully vaccinated and have returned a negative COVID test, and they will also be required to quarantine at a house where no one else is living. 

There are plans to open up more rooms in hotel quarantine. 

Masks will also become mandatory from Saturday at all indoor and outdoor events with 1000 people and more, including at the Salamanca Market.
