Tommy Hilfiger Hosted a Caviar-Filled Fête at The Nines

On Monday night, in lieu of a traditional fashion show, designer Tommy Hilfiger opted for an intimate dinner and cocktails at the fashionable downtown establishment, The Nines, to toast his Spring 2023 collection. Given the evening is during NYFW, Hilfiger described what American style means to him in 2023, “It is always on the casual side. For us. It’s about fashion, art, music, entertainment, and sports—pop culture. And we’re always sort of preppy, but modern, or preppy with a twist,” Hilfiger told Vogue.

The night was an amalgamation of the designer’s core themes, bringing together close friends of the brand and industry tastemakers across fashion, music, and sports, including Kailand Morris, Aoki Lee Simmons, Madelyn Cline, Mimi Cuttrell, Nigel Sylvester, and more. Guests enjoyed staple cocktails, martinis, and old-fashioneds and sat down to a multi-course dinner featuring the Nines’ signature Kaspian potato (inspired by the storied Caviar Kaspia)—served with crème fraîche and caviar, alongside dishes of hamachi, king salmon and burgers paired with crisp frites. Charlotte Lawrence then gave an intimate musical performance to round out a spectacular evening of fine cuisine, cocktails, and fashion (of course).
