Two men in New South Wales have been fined after allegedly breaching COVID isolation rules in Newcastle.A 20 year old man was fined $10,000 - and another man was hit with a $5,000 fine - for failing to self-isolate when they were informed they were close contacts of a positive case.One man allegedly visited the Argyle House nightclub in Newcastle - and also stopped by another person's house in the city - knowing he was a close contact.The second man allegedly attended a licensed premises - the night he was directed to self-isolate.
