Video of ambulance stopped for KKR convoy goes viral, police call it ‘fake, defamatory’- WATCH

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 was seen getting suspended after the bio-bubble was breached and gamers and different workers members have been seen getting examined optimistic for COVID-19.

Now amid all the event, a video is broadly being circulated exhibiting an ambulance being stopped in Ahmedabad to permit the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) convoy to move easily. 

According to the 15-second clip, three KKR buses have been being escorted by police autos, whereas the ambulance remained stationary on the site visitors level.  

As per a report in The Indian Express, the video was shot at Panjrapole crossroads site visitors junction in Ahmedabad.

KKR have been scheduled to play in opposition to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on May 3, however after duo, Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier examined optimistic for COVID-19, the match was rescheduled.  


Meanwhile, reacting to the video, the Joint Commissioner of Police (site visitors), Ahmedabad, Mayanksinh, was quoted in The Indian Express saying, “We have seen the video and are but to confirm whether or not the site visitors on the stated junction was stopped by Traffic Police or Ahmedabad Police. The police won’t ever cease an ambulance on its approach for any VIP convoy, be it of IPL gamers or any minister. We even don’t cease hearse vans for convoys. The case could possibly be of momentary confusion. This is a malicious try and tarnish the picture of police with pretend and defamatory video.”
