Wheelchair-bound woman to complete inspirational marathon challenge

A wheelchair-bound woman is set to complete an inspirational challenge of finishing 50 marathons across 50 US states.

Andrea Lytle Peet's goal is to be the first person with ALS to complete a marathon in all 50 states.

She enjoyed running marathons as a hobby before her diagnosis of ALS in 2014 when she was 33 years old.

She set a goal to do one last race, but after crossing the finish line on her bike she felt like she was strong enough to do more.

Now, her journey is helping others suffering with ALS - on her website, Team Drea Foundation, she shares her story and raises money for ALS research.

She will complete her goal next May in a race in Alaska.
