World Sight Day 2021: 8 Tips To Keep Your Eyes Healthy

New Delhi: Four out of 5 folks worldwide have visible impairment that might have been prevented, the National Health Portal of India (NHPI) says. According to it, 80 per cent of blindness is preventable by therapy.

World Sight Day, which is noticed yearly on the second Thursday of October, highlights the significance of efforts that encourage prevention of avoidable blindness and visible impairment.

World Sight Day is coordinated by the International Agency for Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) below WHO’s ‘VISION 2020: the Right to Sight’ international initiative.

This 12 months’s theme is “Love your eyes”.

Tips For Healthy Eyes
