A younger Adelaide man has died after his automotive left the highway and crashed right into a tree in South Australia’s state’s mid north area.

The 23-year-old man from Norwood, who was the one occupant of the car, died on the scene in Tarlee on Monday afternoon.

Emergency providers responded to the single-car crash alongside the Horrocks Highway about 3.40pm.
